It’s important to develop strong football skills and an understanding of competitive matches.  Grassroots football clubs such as AFC Leyton, provide a high standard of coaching including technical sessions and competitive match experiences.

Talent Pathway

Undertake trials with your local Regional Talent Club.  The FA Girls’ England Talent Pathway was put in place to support the identification and development of those with elite potential.

Your coach will be tell you when your daughter is ready to try out for a RTC.

RTC’s local to AFC Leyton are:

Essex FA – Tier 2, Arsenal Ladies – Tier 2, Charlton Athletic – Tier 2, Chelsea – Tier 2 , Millwall – Tier 2.
