We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in the “Women’s Game” category for the 2018/2019 national “Fans for Diversity Awards”.
The awards celebrate the energy, campaigns and diversity of football fans from across the country.
The awards consider a wide range of activity which has taken place over the 2018/2019 season across seven categories. The winners from each category will form the shortlist for the overall Fans for Diversity Award at the FSA awards in December.
Louise McGing Club Secretary commented “We are a naturally inclusive club at AFC Leyton and it’s something we are incredibly proud of. We have always been an international club with players and volunteers that have roots in nearly every continent. Receiving this nomination and being shortlisted for the award is a great honour for AFC Leyton”
